Man In Australia Sets New Push-Up World Record

All hail the push-up king! Lucas Helmke, a 33-year-old accountant in Australia, has set a new record for the most push-ups done in an hour. Helmke pulled off the feat at a gym in Brisbane which has now been officially recognized by Guinness World Records.

Exactly how many times must one go up and down to take the top spot? The current answer to this question is now a staggering 3,206 in an hour. To further break down this accomplishment, that is an average of 53 push-ups per minute. The previous record was set by another Australian – a  mechanic named Daniel Scali in April 2022. He was able to do it 3,182 times.
