Man Covers Body In 140 Pounds Of Bees To Set Record

Some people will do just about anything to get their name in a record book. A Chinese daredevil named Ruan Liangming just pulled off a record-breaking feat for the Guinness Book of World Records. He covered his body with 140 pounds of bees.

Ruan had multiple buckets filled with bees dumped over his head in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, to get the insects to settle on his body. Soon, the bees did settle down on him, and then the official weight was taken. His compliment of bees weighed in at 140 pounds, 6.95 ounces.

The congregation of insects was enough to earn him the world record for the heaviest mantle of bees. Congratulations, I think.
