Television Shows You Can Make Workout Games With

 

If you treat binge watching your favorite shows like a drinking game, you can transform your ample self-isolation TV time into fitness time, as well. Here are some shows, and corresponding exercises to go with them to get you started…

“The Mandalorian” – Arms

  • Do 20 punches every time a bounty is mentioned.
  • Do 15-20 biceps or triceps extensions when Mando’s armor is discussed.
  • Do 20 arm circles when there’s a childhood flashback.
  • Do 10 arm scissors when Baby Yoda does anything cute.
  • Do 10 pushups or chest expansions for every “This is the way.”
  • Do a plank when Baby Yoda eats soup or uses The Force.

“Rick & Morty” – Legs

  • Do 10 squats when someone goes through a portal.
  • Do 10 march steps for every new alien that shows up.
  • Do 10 butt kicks when Rick pulls out a new invention.
  • Do 20 side leg raises with Jerry does something stupid.
  • Do a 1-minute wall sit for every WUBBALUBBADUBDUB!!!!

“The Good Place” – Abs

  • Do 10 crunches for every mention of the Good or Bad Place.
  • Do 10 reverse crunches was Janet makes an appearance.
  • Do 10 sitting twists whenever there’s an ethical discussion.
  • Do 30-second bicycles with flashbacks.
  • Do a 1-minute mountain climber when Janet is rebooted.

“The Witcher” – Cardio

  • Do 10 jumping jacks when Gerald grunts or rolls his eyes.
  • Do 10 knee highs when someone says “Witcher”
  • Do a 20-second plank when Yennefer casts a spell.
  • Do 5 burpees whenever the Law of Surprise is mentioned.
  • Do burpees for as long as you can when Jaskier sings “Toss A Coin To Your Witcher.”
