We had told you about how many of the spring breakers in Florida just weren’t taking the coronavirus seriously. Well, the one spring breaker who became the face of a generation not taking the pandemic seriously has apologized.
Brady Sluder, a high school graduate and Soundcloud rapper from Milford, Ohio, went viral after an interview was posted of him saying, “If I get corona, I get corona. At the end of the day, I’m not going to let it stop me from partying. We’ve been waiting for Miami spring break for a while.” He closed with, “We’re just out here having a good time. Whatever happens, happens.”
Now Brady has posted a public apology on his Instagram page saying that, “I wasn’t aware of the severity of my actions and comments.” He added, “Our generation may feel invincible like I did when I commented, but we have a responsibility to listen and follow the recommendations in our communities.”
