A man with two very large pet lizards was found eaten by them after authorities searched his home. Ronald Huff had his face, hands and stomach organs devoured by seven 6ft-long Nile monitor lizards after a bite he sustained from one of them got infected.
The huge reptiles, flesh-eating, venomous and endemic to Africa, were found by cops covered in their owner’s blood and were hissing aggressively at the officers. The incident happened in 2002 but it remains one of the most terrifying and bizarre instances of a human being eaten by their pets.
His friends and neighbors all say that Ronald would still be alive today if he didn’t keep those lizards as pets. In fact, friends say that he raised Madagascar hissing cockroaches, big cockroaches, two or three inches long. He would feed them to the lizards as well.
