Well, this group of Girl Scouts is certainly entrepreneurial. A local Chicago troop set up shop to sell their famous cookies outside a weed dispensary last weekend and they sold hundreds of boxes to customers coming out of the shop.
The troop had approached other businesses in the area in hopes that they would allow them the chance to set up outside their business. Only most of the local business owners had already worked out a deal with other area troops. This particular troop of Girl Scouts got creative and were the only ones to approach the dispensary.
The employee’s helped three Brownie scouts sell 230 boxes of cookies during a four-hour shift outside the dispensary. It was such a success that they already got a commitment from the dispensary to set up shop there through the end of the month.
