WATCH: Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” Speech
King’s speech at the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom featured the famous “I Have a Dream” quote, but it also contained these lesser-known, more radical quotes: “America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked ‘insufficient funds,” and “There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, ‘When will you be satisfied?’ We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality.”
