Model Selling Nude Photos To Raise Money For Australian Wildfires Shutdown By Instagram
An Instagram model claims that she was inspired to help the victims of the wildfires in Australia and wanted to raise money by bringing attention to the situation. Well, she certainly got some attention.
Los Angeles-based social media influencer Kaylen Ward says that in an effort to bring awareness and to help raise money she offered up nude photos of herself for anyone that would donate money to certain charities associated with the wildfires.
“I’m sending nudes to every person who donates at least $10 to anyone of these fundraisers for the wildfires in Australia. Every $10 you donate = one nude picture from me to your DM [direct messages.] You must send me confirmation that you donated,” the 20-year-old woman told her 205,000 Twitter followers on Friday.
She claims that her efforts had raised over $500,000 by Sunday. Now she says that Instagram has stepped in and shut her down. She posted a photo to Twitter showing that her account had been deactivated due to “sexually suggestive content.”
She hopes to continue her fundraising efforts.
