A Florida Man Called Authorities To Report Roommate Who Stole His Weed

There are plenty of reasons why someone should call 9-1-1. Almost every one of them has to do with some sort of emergency that needs immediate attention. Someone stealing your weed would not make the list.

That didn’t stop a Florida man from calling 9-1-1 to report his roommate, who allegedly stole about $20 worth of his weed. The man was asked to stop calling 9-1-1 with his roommate issues.

Luckily for us, a video was posted onto the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office Twitter page that shows the deputy responding to the call about stolen weed.

The deputy explains that “he’s upset, he’s calling 911” and that “I got to give him a call and tell him to stop calling.”

Officials did not say if the man was taken into custody for reporting his drugs – or if his roommate eventually paid him back.
