Cop Forgets He Bit Into Sandwich And Accuses McDonald’s Of Eating It

Imagine ordering a sandwich from McDonald’s and finding a bite taken out of it when you open it. Now imagine you publicly accuse employees of the McDonald’s for taking a bite out of your sandwich when it was actually you that had done it.  Welcome to the world of an Indianapolis police officer.

It appears that an officer went on the local news with his voice and face disguised, and told the viewers about how he ordered a McChicken sandwich, fries, and cookies, and discovered an entire bite taken out of the food when he arrived at work and opened up the bag.

The officer then went to the McDonald’s he had ordered the sandwich from and complained to the supervisor who assured him that they would find out who made his order that day. The officer felt that the reason a bite was missing was that he was a cop.

Well, it turns out the person who took the bite out of the sandwich was the officer himself. The officer took a  bite out of the sandwich upon starting his shift at the Marion County Jail, then placed it in the refrigerator in a break room. He returned nearly seven hours later having forgotten that he had previously bitten the sandwich.

The officer has formally apologized to the McDonald’s for making the accusations.
