Peter Frampton Releases “Georgia On My Mind” Cover

Peter Frampton has served up his own take of “Georgia On My Mind” by Hoagy Carmichael. The cover appears on his upcoming album “All Blues.”

“It’s the standard, I’ve heard Ray Charles kill it, I’ve heard Steve Winwood kill it, and I would never attempt to sing this song,” Frampton says. “I decided we would do this song as an instrumental, it’s turned out to be a highlight on this record.”

“All Blues” is due for release on June 7th. Fans get “Georgia On My Mind” when you pre-order the album HERE. Check out the cover to the right.
