When you think of Boston you probably don’t think about wild turkeys roaming the streets. However, that’s what is happening in one town nearby and residents are fearful.

Residents of the Moss Hill section of Jamaica Plain are complaining about a bunch of wild turkeys that are harassing residents and becoming more and more aggressive.  “It’s extremely scary. It’s frightening. If you’re walking they come up extremely, extremely close to you and they come forward like they’re going to bite you,” said one woman who lives in the neighborhood.

There are reports of mailmen and people walking their dogs getting attacked as well. Local animal control is trying to gather up these turkeys although, they don’t usually deal with wild animals. However, the state has granted them the authority to catch them.
