Woman Missing For Five Days Found Alive In Wrecked Car
Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good. For one Alabama woman, luck was definitely on her side this month after concerned family members had reported her missing.
Robin Joyce Fancher was last seen on April 17 leaving her home in a headband and driving her 2003 Mitsubishi Galant in the morning. For the next five days, her whereabouts remained a complete mystery, until a motorist noticed the back-end of a silver car poking out from a brush-covered ditch and dialed 911.
Robin had been found alive but pinned between the driver’s door and the steering column. She had been in the car for five days without any food or water. She was rushed to the hospital and family members say it was a miracle she survived for that long.
