Man Sues Parents For Trashing His Porn Collection
A man’s collection of porn has driven a wedge between him and his parents. We’re not talking a couple cheesy skin mags, we’re talking a massive stash of stuff worth about $29-thousand. The plaintiff, who has been identified as “Charlie,” is seeking more than $86-thousand in damages because they destroyed his collection without warning.
Firstly, let’s roll back to October 2016, when ‘Charlie’ moved back into his parents’ place after a divorce. Everything was groovy for nearly a year…well, until cops were called to resolve a “domestic situation.” As a result, he was forced to leave – and he ultimately did find a new place. Fast forward to when they delivered his belongings…what was missing? Charlie says 12 boxes of goodies including films and sex toys. Yup…all gone.
As an email from “Charlie’s” father says, we’re talking 12 boxes chock full of porn and “sex toys.” Here’s the thing – his folks (dad, specifically) own it. And they’d do it again. In an email chain between ‘Charlie’ and his dad email chains makes it clear that the parents didn’t want the porn in their house. “One reason I destroyed your collection was for your own mental and emotional health,” dad wrote. “I would have done the same if I found a kilo of crack cocaine. Someday, I hope you will understand.” Not likely.
As ‘Charlie’ sees it, much of the value in his collection came from the fact that a number of the films were out of print. Someone should tell “Charlie” that he can find pretty much anything he wants online.
