The Throwdown– Man Builds Surf Board From Dunkin’ Donuts Coffee Cups

Kudos need to go out to a New Hampshire surfer who came up with an innovative way to used discarded Dunkin’ Donuts cups. Meet Korey Nolan, who took 700 cups and 30 plastic straws, then compressed them, and made a surfboard out of them! It’s even finished it off with some fiberglass cloth, epoxy, and bamboo. His board place 2^ndout of 15 finalists in an innovation contest. And by the by? Nolan says he actually uses the board, and “it rides great.”
