Dad’s Can Now Breastfeed With This Device
It’s no secret that being a new mom is exhausting and now a Japanese tech company has made it possible for fathers to “breastfeed” as well.
A new breastfeeding device for dads has just debuted at South by Southwest and it’s called the Father’s Nursing Assistant. This is a lot more high-tech than the ones we’ve seen before. It’s a wearable device that resembles a woman’s breasts and is equipped with a tank for milk or formula and a nipple. It can also sense when your kid falls asleep and then it shoots that info to an app, so you can track sleeping and feeding patterns.
It’s not clear when they’ll go on sale, or how much they’ll cost but the idea is to take pressure off of moms and give dads a new way to bond with their babies.
