You can’t pull the wool over James Gertie‘s eyes. The Chicago-area man did the math and figured out McDonald’s “Extra Value Meals” are 41 cents more expensive than when the items are purchased separately. Naturally, he’s taking the restaurant chain to court over the matter.

Gertie is suing Micky D’s for consumer fraud and deceptive practices, but how much money he wants isn’t clear. Either way, he says the suit isn’t about the 41 cents, but principle.
