Bill Murray and his brothers have reached a “verbal agreement” that even the Dali Lama would approve of…which is nice. A suburb just outside of Chicago looks to be the site of a Plaza in Rosemont, about 30 minutes out of the city, and it’ll command every bit of the 11,000-square-foot space… for the second “Caddyshack”-themed spot. The first was launched in St. Augustine, Florida.

This means at some point, we can expect the property to be rife with gophers and golfers, and endless encounters with people who can quote every single line from the movie over-and-over until you beg them to start quoting “Stripes” or “Groundhog Day.”

They’re still extremely early in the planning stages for this one, so no firm opening date has been set as of yet. However, the do have the verbal agreement going for them…which is nice.
