Frozen Woman’ Ends Up Being A Mannequin
Police in Hudson, New York got a call from an understandably upset woman who said there was an elderly woman “frozen to death” inside a car. Officers and a rescue squad arrived and broke a window only to find out the elderly woman was actually a very realistic mannequin.
So who would be riding around with a life-like elderly woman buckled in their passenger seat? A sales manager for a company that makes medical training aids. According to authorities, the car owner was “quite vocal and vulgar” to one of the responding officers and was not happy his car window was broken.
This is what Hudson police had to say to that, “Just to clear the record, all citizens of Hudson should be put on notice that if you park your locked vehicle on the street on a sub-zero night with a life-size realistic mannequin seated in it … we will break your window.”
