Woman Gives Birth A Day After First Being Told She Was Pregnant
Most women have months to prepare for their bundle of joy to make their debut. Amanda Francis had 24 hours. The 26-year-old from Connecticut was shocked to learn she was two months pregnant and even more surprised when she went into labor the next day.
It turns out she was actually eight months pregnant and miraculously gave birth to baby boy, Kellin. Even Francis herself was surprised her new addition was happy and healthy. “One of the strangest things is looking back at the time I was pregnant and realizing all of the crazy things I did,” she says. “I fell down a flight of stairs while holding my cat at five months pregnant, sat for a five hour tattoo session at six months, and at seven months, I…went hiking and I decided I wanted to climb some rocks.”
Francis goes on to say she chalked up being “mildly sick” to a stomach bug that was going around her office and any changes to her body as being “just fat” or “bloated.”
