Couple Tricks Out Honda, Makes It Into A Rolling Arcade
The ride features a giant flat screen that sits on top of their 1991 brown Accord, complete with flashing with neon green and purple rope lights lining the ceiling and floor seams. The TV is flanked with a series of controllers—enough for four people to play together—lined with game systems from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. Maurice, a self-proclaimed “genius with wires,” and Star have always loved playing games outside.
The couple even set up a Facebook page where they sometimes post about where they’re headed next. Star says she’s amazed at the effect games have on people. “We keep it old school” she laughs. “We’re working hard, we’re stressed and we need to relax and have fun and remember a time when life was simple. It gives people this moment where it brings them back.”
