Here Are Your Highest Paid Musicians
“Forbes” magazine has come out with their annual highest earning musicians list for 2016. While it isn’t a huge surprise that Taylor Swift is blowing away the field by raking in an astounding $170-million, it’s worth noting that’s $60-million more than the number two entry on the list, One Direction. Since there is only ONE Taylor, and a bunch of One Direction guys – four?…five? We really have no clue, but we do know they have to split that cash up, and she doesn’t.
Rounding out the Top Five are Adele with $80.5-million, Madonna with $76.5-million, and Rihanna with $75-million. Just think how much these ladies would be making if they had two names!
As far as the rockers go:
- AC/DC – #7 with $67.5-million
- The Rolling Stones – #8 with $66.5-million
- Bruce Springsteen – #11 with $60.5-million
- Paul McCartney – #12 with $56.5-million
- U2 – #15 with $55-million
