British Man Planning on Celebrating Christmas For 47 Hours

Fraser Watt loves Christmas so much he’s going to celebrate for almost two days straight – that’s the goal anyway. The Scottish man is planning on flying across the globe from New Zealand to Hawaii on Christmas Day without ever crossing the International Date Line, meaning he will have 47 hours of Christmas.

If everything goes as plans, 58-year-old Watt will fly nearly 20,000 miles, setting the record for the furthest distance traveled on commercial airliners in a single day and the furthest distance traveled in any 24-hour period.

What’s more, Watt is doing some good with his stunt. He is raising money for UNICEF Australia because as he puts it, “The world really needs at least one good news story for 2016.” Good luck, Fraser!
