There’s a new invention Kickstarter that’s sure to revolutionize the kayaking industry. That is, of course, if you’re in to kayaking because you love the cramped little boat, but hate the actual fitness benefits. Gentlemen, meet the “Gas Powered Kayak.”
Dustin Sims is the man behind the thing and in his campaign, he’s asking for $399 for each kayak, and promises to ship them by March of next year. Here’s the thing – and maybe I’m just being a cynical bastard – but if you’re really into having a motorboat, wouldn’t you buy one that actually has a bit of room for fishing gear and such?
Most kayak-lovers enjoy it for the fitness, relaxation, and sport of it. Having a motor on a kayak is like putting on roller skates and pretending that you’re jogging. Of course, you might think it is the more brilliant thing in the world – so go buy a ton of them. Is this you?
