Police Find A Koala Bear In A Woman’s Bag
Only in Australia! Brisbane authorities were arresting a 50-year-old woman on “outstanding matters” when they asked if she had anything in her bag. That’s when she handed over a zipped tote bag with a six-month-old koala bear inside it.
The unidentified woman claims she found the koala the day before and had been caring for it since, even giving him the name Alfred. The three-pound bear was taken to the police station in good health and given the name Alfred. The only problem with the little guy is he was a bit dehydrated.
After he fully recuperates, he’ll be going to a professional koala carer.
