Man Survives “Stupid” Close Encounter With A Crocodile
Johnny Bonde had a run-in with a crocodile and has lived to tell the tale. The 27-year-old from Denmark was visiting Australia when he spotted a crocodile. He wanted to get a good photo, but ended up slipping…and falling directly on top of the eight-foot-long animal.
“He got a pretty good grip on me and shook me around a bit,” Bonde recalls. “There was just splashing and I could feel a bit of pain in my arm; it wasn’t that bad though, I was more shocked than anything.”
While the backpacker has survived, he says he fully understands how “stupid” his photo attempt was. “I pretty much body slammed him,” Bonde adds. “If somebody body slammed me at night, I would be angry too.”
