Dad Takes His Daughter Trick Or Treating…On A Cross Country Flight
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a contender for the best dad of the year. While flying from Boston to San Francisco on Halloween, Stephanie Kahan was passed a note, and a piece of candy, by a fellow flyer explaining his daughter was very upset she was missing trick or treating, so he was going to bring the tradition to her.
“If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket,” the note explains. “You’ll be making her Halloween! If you’re unwilling, no worries, just pass the treat back to me. Thanks so much!”
Kahan says her fellow passengers, who also received the note and treat, seemed “really touched and excited to participate.” She posted a photo of the note and it went viral. As for the dad himself, who asked to remain anonymous, Kahan says he was shocked by how much attention the post was getting. As Kahan puts it, “he said it was great to see that it made so many people happy, and funny that his daughter was blissfully unaware.”
