Cookie Monster Gets Stabbed By A Pilot Fighting With A Native American
This certainly never happened on “Sesame Street.” In case you missed it, a man dressed as Cookie Monster in New York City tried to intervene in a fight between a man dressed as a Tuskegee Airman and one dressed Native American.
According to the New York Post, the pilot was unhappy with the Native American costume, which he thought was offensive. When Cookie Monster got involved, the pilot pulled a knife out of his boot and stabbed him.
Christopher Ramos, who was inside the Cookie Monster getup, was taken to a local hospital with a lacerated spleen. His injuries are said to be not life-threatening. Both the pilot and Native American are still at large but police are investigating.
