Street In Pennsylvania Isn’t Getting Their Mail Delivered Because Of One Dog
When you’re a mail carrier, aggressive dogs are a workplace hazard. Well, one carrier in western Pennsylvania has had enough. The United States Postal Service has stopped delivery on a block in the town of Washington because of one nasty pitbull.
According to the carrier, they’ve been attacked repeatedly by the dog. The pup’s owner, Renee Scholato, insists the dog has escaped her yard before, but hasn’t ever bit or attacked the mail delivery person. Either way, the USPS says delivery won’t resume until the dog is properly restrained.
Until then residents on Scholato’s block will have to pick up their mail at the local post office. Understandably, they’re not thrilled. As neighbor Brenda Dogle explains, the whole street “has to suffer because of one house.”
