Canada Named Top Travel Destination For 2017
If you’re looking to plan a vacation for next year and want a “hot destination,” look no further than our neighbors to the north. That’s right, Canada has been named 2017’s top country to visit by the guidebook and travel website Lonely Planet. And 2017 is a perfect time to head north, since the country will be celebrating their 150th anniversary.
And if some of the top countries are too much for you, the site also picked their choices for top cities, regions and value destinations. The top city is Bordeaux, France, with the U.S. represented on the list by Los Angeles at number three and Portland at ten. Meanwhile, Choquequirao [[Chuqi K’iraw]] in Peru earned top honors for region, and Nepal got the honor for value destination, with Michigan’s upper peninsula representing the U.S. at ten.
