A Naked Hillary Clinton Statue Pops Up In New York City
Hillary Clinton has gotten the nude statue treatment. The sculpture, which shows naked Clinton, was displayed near a subway station in New York City and, got a very different reaction than the nude Donald Trump statues that popped up around the country in August.
This time, instead of laughing and taking pictures, passersby got angry. After less than three hours, one woman knocked the statue over and sat on it, preventing a man, later discovered to be the creator, 27-year-old Anthony Scioli, from putting it back up. “This is obscene,” another woman who worked nearby said. “To put something up like this in front of my work place…I shouldn’t have to see this.”
Shortly after, officers with the counterterrorism unit arrived ordered Scioli to remove the statue because he didn’t get a permit for the demonstration. No charges were filed.
