Terrarium Building Parties Are The Latest Bar Craze
Going to a bar to just grab a drink and catch up with friends isn’t enough for some folks anymore. These days, more and more people want to be entertained while they drink their glass of wine, and the latest trend in entertainment is apparently, gardening.
The folks responsible for Paint Nite, you know when friends get together at a bar to drink and paint ugly pictures, are now bringing Plant Nite to bars in 37 cities, which has folks getting together to drink and create their own terrariums. For between $45 and $75, patrons get to build their very own terrariums, filled with low-maintenance succulents that basically just need a mist of water every once in a while. The cost of the class covers all the materials needed for the terrarium, including dirt, rocks, planters, spades, aprons and more, with instructors cleaning up after them.
Such classes seem to be attractive to people because it allows them to be creative, and even de-stress, plus after a few drinks folks get into it and start having fun. Added bonus – the drinks help you forget how much you spent for a plant.
