Are These The Most Overrated Popular Foods?

We’re always hearing about the latest food trend or fad, but admit it, there are just some foods that you don’t get. I mean, how many people really like kale or Quinoa? Well, in case you missed it, “USA Today” has just come out with what they call the “definitive” list of the most overrated popular foods, and we have a feeling a lot of people will disagree with their choices.

For example, topping the list is guacamole, which they describe as “too filling,” and not as good as salsa. They add, “It’s a great once-every-three-chip dip, but it’s treated like the life of the party when, in reality, no one eats enough of it and you always have too much left over.” Clearly they’ve never had good guac.

And coming in just behind guac, is ice cream. Yup, you read that right the delicious cold, creamy goodness makes the list, with the paper arguing that the best part about an ice cream flavor is what’s in it, like say cookie dough, rather than the cream itself, noting that that part gets “way too much attention.”
