No Emmy For Jimmy

Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the Emmy Awards on Sunday, but he doesn’t expect to win. The host is competing in the Outstanding Variety Talk Series category with “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver,” “The Late Late Show With James Corden,” “Real Time With Bill Maher,” and “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Kimmel is expecting John Oliver to get the award because he “does a great show” every week. And lest you feel some kinda way about, know that he’s fine with not winning. He admitted, “I don’t care that much.” Even though he’s campaigned before, he didn’t do it this time around because, “People shouldn’t vote for you because they like you or they met you at a bowling alley, they should vote for you if they think you’re the best one.”

We’ll find out who’ll take home the gold on Sunday when the 68th annual Primetime Emmy Awards are presented Sunday.
