An unnamed woman in Washington D.C. is facing second degree theft charges after allegedly helped herself to some taters from the plate of a cop.

According to a police report, the woman sat next to the officer and started chatting. Conventional wisdom says she wasn’t just trying to be friendly – because she reportedly reached over and snagged a fry.

The unnamed officer says he told her to stop, but she did it again. He told her to stop again – and threatened arrest. She didn’t listen – and grabbed a third…and scored herself a pair of bracelets, as in handcuffs.
