Man Bulldozes His Neighbor’s House

Think you have a lousy neighbor? Well at least they’ve never bulldozed your house. Police in Drummonds, Tennessee are trying to get to the bottom of what led to one man destroying the other’s house. What we do know is that the drama began when authorities received a call about a man shooting a gun into the woods.

In case you missed it, that man turned out to be 48-year-old John Higdon and he told police there was a group of people running around in the woods by his house while wearing camouflage. Higdon also told authorities he reported a group of people shining flashlights into his house earlier in the week and he believed they were employees of his neighbor, 57-year-old Edgar McLellan. Police didn’t find any evidence of suspicious characters and left. After getting a second call about Higdon’s gunshots, they arrested him for reckless endangerment. Here’s where it get interesting.

Early the next morning, a man later identified as McLellan was seen bulldozing Higdon’s house! What exactly caused the beef between the two neighbors is unknown, but McLellan has since been charged with aggravated criminal trespassing and felony vandalism.
