Instead Of A Birthday Party, This Kid Wants To Give Pizza To Louisiana Flood Victims

For his ninth birthday, Carson Boutte didn’t want to rent a bouncy house or play Pokémon Go, this boy from Lafayette, Louisiana wanted to deliver lunch to flood victims. His family’s home wasn’t affected by the devastating flooding in the area, but he saw the damage to his aunt’s house and was upset. So his mom Lanie told Carson that she’d spend the $100 she was planning to use for his birthday present to get food for the flood victims, just like he wanted. And when she shared his birthday wishes on Facebook, her post went viral. A local Domino’s owner offered to match the first 100 pizzas and friends and neighbors said they’d help too.

And Carson was able to deliver the pizzas door-to-door, cheering up those who really need it. This thoughtful kid was responsible for 363 Domino’s pizzas going to flood victims, KATC reports. And the birthday boy says, “I got my wish.”
