Love – or in this case, lust – will often make you do stupid things. An unidentified man in Pittsburgh climbed up a fire escape to a rooftop with a girl he’d just met and figured he’d try to impress her…by jumping from one roof to another. Obviously, this didn’t go well.

The man ended up getting stuck in what officials described as the “narrow, debris-filled space” between the buildings. By the time he was rescued, he was stuck for four hours.

Luckily for him, he escaped with only an ankle injury and some cuts and bruises. No word on if the woman was impressed. Or if he got a second date.
