These days most of us can’t live without our cellphone, and for this reason choosing the right wireless provider is incredibly important. While all providers want you to believe they are the best, a new report reveals that the one company that can actually boast about that with confidence is Verizon.

The report by Rootmetrics reveals that Verizon Communications gets top marks in all six categories tested including “overall,” “reliability,” “speed,” “text,” “data” and “call.” Overall, Verizon scored a 93.9 out of a possible 100, followed by AT&T with 89.9, Sprint with 85.5 and T-Mobile with an 82.5.

While Verizon held the top score in every category, AT&T was second in every category but “call,” where they came in third behind Sprint. Suprisingly, this is the first time in the Rootmetrics’ five test periods where AT&T didn’t hold or share the top spot for “text.”
