False alarm. It seems the 15-year-old brat was upset because her parents had “forced her to go on vacation with them” in a rental cottage on the Trent River. Officials determined that there was “no real emergency.”

“This appears to be a case of a teenager being a teenager” Constable Stephen Bates explains. They interviewed all occupants of the cottage to confirm the girl was safe and on a family vacation. Bates says the unidentified girl was cautioned that this “was not an appropriate use of 911.”
