World’s Longest Cigar Rolled In Cuba
Want to guess where the record for the world’s longest cigar is being challenged? Expert Cuban cigar roller Jose Castelar Cairo, known as “Cueto,” is in the process of trying to to beat the record, which he set in 2011.
Five years ago, Cueto created a stogie that measured a whopping 268-feet-four-inches-long. “Cuba is the country where the best tobacco is grown,” he said back in 2011, “and as long as Cueto is around, Cuba will have the world’s longest cigar.”
The expert roller has been working on his current record since August 1st and plans on finishing up at some point today. No word yet on when Guinness officials will make their way to Cuba to decide whether or not he beat his record.
