How officers randomly unearthed this lab in the first place is a mystery, but Buffalo officers on routine patrol found chemicals and other items used to make crystal meth in an underground culvert in the parking lot of a local Walmart. The area is apparently tall enough for a person to stand up in and do what else, cook crank.

Police and fire crews got on it and removed several jars of speed from a manhole that’s accessible from the culvert. Authorities say they’ll check out the store’s surveillance footage for any leads, so far they have none.
