Why’d he do it? Sergeant David Odegaard explains that McNalley “said he was just bored.” We guess watching reruns of “Seinfeld” was out of the question huh?

Apparently, the chase started when McNalley tore through an intersection with his 1994 Mercury Sable. A Sable? No wonder it topped out at 85. The chase went on for an hour and was discontinued three times by police for public safety.

Sergeant Odegaard said one of the more unusual things about the chase is that it pretty much ended up where it started. Odegaard notes, “He could have very easily injured or killed some innocent people just for the joy of, ‘I was bored.’” But for real…you guys couldn’t catch a Sable?
