While some folks still think it’s a bit nerdy to wear glasses, it seems a whole host of others think glasses make folks look smarter, and that goes for sports figures as well.

According to a new survey conducted GlassesUSA, when asked, most Americans thought that sports figures looked much smarter with a pair of specs on. Overall, 93% of folks questioned thought that Amar’e Stoudemire looks smarter with glasses, followed by Serena Williams (88%), Tim Tebow (84%), Lebron James (80%), Tom Brady (77%), Von Miller (72%), Russell Westbrook (71%), and Stephen Curry (69%).

Believe it or not, there was only one athlete in the survey who folks though looked just as smart with or without glasses, and that was swimmer Michael Phelps, with 53% saying he looked smarter with glasses, and 47% saying he looked smarter without. Either way, the specs would certainly be hard to wear in the pool.
