Australian police must have been confused when they got a call from a man reporting his father for burning his cannabis plant. According to authorities, a father and son in the Northern Territory of the country were fighting when the dad threw his son’s “prized” weed plants into a bonfire, destroying them.
That’s when the “indignant and enraged” young man called authorities. When they arrived, they questioned the son, asking if he knew it was illegal to possess marijuana. Officer Louise Jorgensen explains, “He seemed to believe that the destruction of the same was far worse than the possession in the first instance.”
It’s a good thing the guy’s dad burned all of his plants. No charges have been filed because all the evidence is gone.
