Restaurant Offers Free Burgers If You Change Your Name To “Burger”
Your hunger problem is officially solved! That is, if you live Down Under. The Australian chain Mr. Burger is officially offering free burgers for life to anyone that changes their last name to “Burger.”
So how does this work? All you do is officially change your name, email the company with proof, then you’re cramming one free burger a day down your gullet as long as you keep that ridiculous last name. What if we change our name to Mr. Taco? Ladies?
The Chain is known for pulling pranks on people especially on April Fool’s Day — but Marketing Manager Maleik Edwards says this is totally legit. Why now? “Last week was a pretty heavy week in news,” Edwards adds. “Between Brexit…the election. We thought this was a great way of brightening people’s day.”
Want to change your name and get that free food? You need to act fast – only the first ten “Burgers” to send in proof will get the deal. Would hate to be dude number 11 that changes his name.
