The world is still dealing with the refugee crisis, but in the town of Minden, Germany, a 25-year-old proves there are good people everywhere. The man, who moved to Germany from Syria last October, was given a cabinet by a charitable organization…and found $166,000 stashed inside.

The most incredible part? He turned the money over to the authorities.

Police are calling the unidentified man their “hero of the day” because while small sums of money are turned in often, a surprise payday this big is “the absolute exception.”
