Comic Hung On Girl’s Childhood Bedroom Ends Up Selling For $58,000

Think back to the posters you had on your wall as a kid. For one British woman, a framed cover book cover turned into a huge payday 30 years later.

The unidentified woman had the original artwork from Thor comic issue 158 dated December 1968 hanging on her wall since she was a kid and when she decided to sell it three decades later, she was told it was worth $6,600.

When it hit the auction block, it ended up going for a whopping $58,000. As it turns out, that particular issue is when Thor discovers he is a superhero.
