Wisconsin High School To Start Drug Testing
So why are they drug testing if all the kids are so great? The administration says that the general area has seen an increase in drug use and heroin deaths. So, they want to “help their students find healthy solutions.”
They’ve got their system down, too. The $12,000 it takes to run the program is being donated by the public. Who are these crazy drug hating donors? And 15 “lucky” contestants/kids will be randomly picked every week and will be tested through a hair sample. So stay away from the poppy seed bagels.
- In case you’re wondering, Xavier is able to get away with this because they’re a private school. Public schools have a few more hurdles to jump through in order to make this happen, like having a parking permit or being on a sports team.
