Nude Restaurant Won’t Let Overweight People In
For an experience as freeing as eating naked, one Japanese restaurant is being really strict, and rude, about it. Next month, Amrita is opening in Tokyo- a restaurant where diners eat naked, employees where g-strings and a show featuring male dancers is included in your bill. If you’ve got an extra tire around the middle, however, don’t make plans to go check it out.
According to the Mirror, Amrita is asking overweight customers to stay home. What’s more, if staff believe a customer is obese, they’ll make them get on a scale. There are other restrictions, too. Diners must be between 18 and 60 and no one with tattoos is allowed to strip down.
So how much will this skinnys only dining experience run you? Up to $750. As of now, Amrita is only taking online reservations and you have to pay in advance of your visit, which makes sense because where will customers keep their wallet? Oh, but if rounder people put their name in and pay but don’t make the cut when they get to the restaurant, no refunds will be given. So, as Amrita puts it, overweight people should “refrain from making a reservation.
